Egyptian football player, Amir Azmy Mohamed Megahed, trains in “Zugdidi” for two days. He has played with Koba Tsitaishvili, the coach of “Zugdidi”, in “Anorthosis” Cyprus. The Egyptian contacted to his ex-teammate and expressed a desire to come to Georgia, because of the development of civil war in Egypt the Egyptian Cup Championship event was frustrated.
Amir Megahed (height 190cm.) is a defensive midfielder, but he often played as a central defender. From 2007 he is in the national team of Egypt, and his career is following: in 2004-07 he played for “Paok” Greece, in 2007-08 he played in the national championship of Arabia, in 2008-10 for “Anorthosis” Cyprus, from 2010 till now he played for “Misr Makasa” of Egypt.
According to Tsitaishvili, the Egyptian football player will play in the lines of “Zugdidi” in the 4th round match against “Sioni” Bolnisi in Ganmukhuri.
Amir Megahed: “Due to the developments in my country, the National Championship has frustrated and i contacted to Koba Tsitaishvili and expressed my desire to come to Zugdidi. He knows about my opportunities. I was in the main lineup everywhere, and I am in a perfect shape now and I think that I will help “Zugdidi”.
