Zarkua and Pantsulaia will Fight for Golden Medal

In final match of Men's Georgian 70th Chess Championship Levan Pantsulaia international grandmaster plays against young master Davit Zarkua.  In the third stage Zarkua won over Luka Paichadze and Pantsulaia beat Giga Kuparadze. Zarkua-Kuparadze will fight for golden medal and Paichadze-Kuparadze for bronze medal. 4 classical parts could not find out winner among Zarkua-Paichadze (2:2). Zarkua managed to win tie-break matches and went through the final.

As for Pantsulaia, he beat rival 2:1.
Final matches start at 15:00 in January 23. Pantsulia and Kuparadze play with white pieces in the first match. Then will be held 4-4 matches and if the winner is not found our after it, will be held tie-break matches.
