Georgian U-19 rugby team beat Portuguese team 27:3 at European Championship which is underway in Belgium. Georgian team went through the semifinal where they will play against Romania.
Georgian rugby players started playing actively and soon they advanced 5:0 by try of Tkhilaishvili. But they could not use conversion. Before the break, players of Paata Narimanashvili scored another try but they could not use conversion again. Before the break, the teams changed penalties and Georgian rugby players won the first half 13:3. In the second half Georgian team played much better and finally, they won 27:3.
Romania, the next opponent of Georgian team, beat Ukraine 36:0. Romanians scored 6 tries, 2 in the first half and 4 in the second one. Russian team went through the semifinal. After the first half, Russians were winning over Spain 22:0 and in the end, they won 27:15. The next opponent of Russia will be winner between Belgium and Poland.
