On May 3, in the city of Switzerland, Geneva starts the first round of Chess Grand Prix 2013=14, there will be 12 participants in it.Among them are two Georgians: Nana Dzagnidze (2545) and Bela Khotenashvili (2499).

As you know each player plays for four-four tournament. Their total result will be calculated according to the result of each round.
As we have already reported, according to the decision of FIDE, the v stage of Grand Prix will be held in Tbilisi too, the next round is held in 2014, from June 18 to July 2.
Grand Prix contains 6 rounds: 60 000 is prize money for each round, 1st place- 10 000 EUR (+260 points), 2nd place- 8 250 (+130 points), 3rd round – 6 750 (+120points), 4th place – 5 750 (+90points), 5th place – 5000 (+80 points), 6th place – 4 500 (+70 points), 7th round- 4 250 (+60), 8th round- 4 000 (+50), 9th – 3 250 (+40), 10th – 3 000 (+30), 11th – 2 750 (+20), 12th – 2 500 (+10).
The winner of Grand Prix, in 2015 will play against the current champion for gaining title of the best player of the planet. Now Ana Ushenina (Ukraine) is the current champion, last year she won with knock-out system. This year, for keeping the title Ushenina plays against Hou Yifan (China) twice champion of world ad winner of Grand Prix 2011-12.
