Khotenashvili is Half Point Behind Leaders

 

In the 6th round of Women’s Grand-Prix Series III Tournament, Bela Khotenashvili (2514) celebrated the 4th victory, which is the best result among the participants.

In the next party of the current tournament, which is underway in Tashkent, Bela faced Russian Olga Giria (2439) with black pieces and won at the 33th move.

In result, Bela earned 4.0 points and moved to the 4th place. Only three leaders are ahead of the Georgian player with 0.5 points – Humpy Koneru (2607), Harika Dronavall (2475) and Katerina Lahno (2532).

In the 7th round, Khotenashvili will play against Venjun Ju (2535) of China with black pieces.

After two round of Grand-Prix the five is following:  1. Ana Muzichuk (Slovenia) – 250 points; 2. Nana Dzagnidze (Georgia) – 220; 3. Tatiana Kosintseva (Russia) – 190; 4. Bela Khotenashvili (Georgia) – 170; 5. Humpy Koneru (India) – 160;
