Vlade Divac, president of Serbian Olympic Committee, arrived in Tbilisi today at dawn. National Olympic Committee invited legendary Serbian basketball player in Georgia. Agenda started with visiting Mtskheta. After that, Divac went to Shota Chochishvili Judo Academy and watched training of Georgian judo team. But as it was expected, he paid more attention to the complex. In the evening, Vlade Divac will visit "Olympic" swimming complex, Sports Palace and the national stadium. Before that, some business meetings are planned with Georgian Catholicos-Patriarch Ilia the second, Tbilisi Mayor Gigi Ugulava and chairman of the Parliament of Georgia Davit Bakradze.
"Tbilisi is a candidate city to host European Youth Olympic Games 2015 and the most important is issue about sport gyms. I liked judo complex. I hope, other gyms are in the same condition. I arrived several hours ago but I can already say many compliments. Tbilisi is a very beautiful city" - stated Vlade Divac.
Gia Natsvlishvili, chairman of Georgian National Olympic Committee, made the following statement:
"I hope, our guest will be pleased with what he saw here and will support Tbilisi in the last voting. Serbia, as well as other countries, has only one vote, but it is important that congress will be held in that country. At the congress will be decided which city will host Youth Olympic Festival 2015, Tbilisi or the city of Czech, Brno".
