Irakli Uznadze, head coach of Georgian judo team, announced the composition for the upcoming European Championship, which will be held on April 24-27 in Montpellier (France). Nine apprentices of Uznadze will participate in this competition.

The Georgian team will have six representatives of seven weight categories. 66kg weight category will be filled without Georgian representative. In 73, 90 and +100 kg two-two Georgians will fit kimono.

In 73kg weight category will participate Nugzar Tatalashvili and between Zebeda Rekhviashvili and Lasha Shavdatuashvili Irakli Uznadze chose Rekhviashvili.

Shalva Kardava (66kg) and Ushangi Margiani (81kg) also are in the Georgian delegation and if necessary they will assist in the team competition.
