Georgian national judo team is having a last preparation stage for European championship in Kakheti, on April 25-28. Irakli Uznadze head coach of the team gathered the expended team at the Kvareli Lake and holds trainings at the renovated gym.  He officially will name 9-man staff for Bucharest tomorrow.

The staff for this tournament has been recently defined.

Amiran Papinashvili -60kg, Lasha Shavdatuashvili- 66kg, Zebeda Rekhviashvili – 73kg, Nugzar Tatalashvili, 81kg- Avtandil Chrikishvili and Levan Tsiklauri, 90 kg- Varlam Liparteliani, 100 kg- Davit Loriashvili and heavy-weight- Adam Okruashvili.

“We took 40 judokas in Kvareli and we are preparing them in very good conditions. The staff for European championship has recently really defined and we will name the staff officially tomorrow. We will finish a meeting on April 20, and will leave for Budapest on April 23”- stated Irakli Uzandze to “World Sport”.
