Lasha Gvalia signed the contract with “Ural” Yekaterinburg 20 days ago, but he has not appeared in the team yet. Grigori Ivanov, presiden of “Ural”, explains the reason – as he say, the Russian Foreign Ministry delays his arrival in Russia.

“When we were signing the contract with Gvalia, we could not even imagine such thing. Immigration service has given us permission, but the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stands strictly. Lasha is a good and fast player and it seems that he can play football, but he is not allowed yet”.

According to the information of press-center of the Russian Foreign Ministry, the case was complicated because Russia does not have diplomatic relations with Georgia, but they are working and supposedly Gvalia will join “Ural” soon.

As far as you know, Gvalia played for “Dila” Gori and he held good matches in the qualifying stages of Europe League.
