Football Federation is holding 2 postponed matches from 3 on March 3. We were told in the federation that as “Dinamo” and “Baia” did not participate in Cup anymore, the 22nd round match of these clubs will be appointed on any semifinal day (April 19 or May 4).

”Zestaponi” - “Torpedo” (Kutaisi) (I - 2:1, II - 0:1).

This is a match of principle. Both teams won last matches and of course, they will try to continue this series. After beating one of the main opponents in the previous match (2:0 against “Olimpi”), “Zestaponi” proved that it is their fault if the club cannot win Cup. As for “Torpedo”, head coach Gia Gigatadze has stated many times that the goal of the club is to win Cup. As you know, “Zestaponi” is the last obstacle of “Torpedo” on the way to the final.
Perhaps, Murtaz Daushvili (“Zestaponi”) will be able to play in this match. “Buba” hurt his knee in the match against “Olimpi” and could not continue playing. According to the preliminary information, he had to rest for 10 days but “World Sport” found out that he had already started training and if not against “Torpedo”, he will be on form for the match against “Baia” (March 7). Giorgi Popkhadze has joined and is training with the club.
The last match between these clubs was remarkable because after a 6-year pause “Torpedo” won over “Zestaponi” (1:0). These clubs has held 28 matches against each other. “Torpedo” won 13 times, “Zestaponi” won 10 times (ball difference 49:32 in the favor of “Torpedo”).

“Spartaki” (Tskhinvali) - “Samtredia” (I - 2:2, II - 0:1)

Result of this match is important for both teams. Winner will gain 3 points and loser will be outsider. “Spartaki” will host “Samtredia” in Tbilisi. At first, “Spartaki” was to host its opponent in Gori but “Spartaki” did not take risk (because of heavy snow) and appointed the match at sports gym “Shatili” in Tbilisi.
If “Spartaki” wins the match, it will be the first time when the club leaves bottom of the schedule.
“Spartaki” and “Samtredia” has held 6 matches against each other. “Samtredia” won 3 matches (2:1, 2:1, 1:0), played 2 draws (1:1, 2:2) and lost one (0:2).

After 4 rounds two outsider clubs fall down in first league in XXIII Championship. An the club which will win the 8th place will play against the third place-owner and in case of win will remain in the first league.
Clubs which will take the 16th and the 17th places will leave First League. These clubs will be replaced by winners in West and East zones of Second League.
