The Georgian U-18 basketball team, led by Archil Zhgenti, is at the meeting on the basis of basketball club “Dinamo” and is preparing for B Division’s European Championship, which takes place on July 24 in the capital city of Bulgaria, Sofia.

Recall that Zhgenti called up 19 basketball players for the extended list. Three of them, Matsaberidze (“Kutaisi-2010”), Tevdorashvili (“Basketball Academy”) and Nika Lomidze (“Basketball Academy”) have not satisfied the requirements of the coach and left the meeting.

Currently, 16 players attend the meeting. Finally 12 of them will be selected and will participate is the European Championship’s B Division. In the group stage, Austria, Estonia, Israel, Germany and Iceland will take part together with Georgia.

Forwards: Vili Isiani (“Grand Kanaria”, Spain), Maizer Revazashvili (“Makabi”), Davit Baramidze (“Rustavi”), Luka Giorgadze (“MIA Academy”).

Centers: Giorgi Turdzeladze (“Slovani”, Slovenia), Soso Gognadze (“Martve”), Vasil Kutaladze (“Rustavi”).
