U-17: Loss to Serbia

The first match of the second round has ended up at European U-17 Championship. The Georgians lost to the Serbians.

It was the 58th minute when after the assist of Danilo Pantic, defender Miledin Stevanovic scored goal. In 5 minutes Pantic scored another goal – 2:0.

According to text online, the Georgians played well in the first half: Luka Zardania missed once and then, goalkeeper parried his shot. Also, the kick of Tengiz Gorozia was parried by Serbian goalkeeper.

The Serbians scored in the middle of the second half. After that, Ilia Kerdzevadze and Giorgi Tevzadze had a chance to score goal.

Finally, we lost. It was obvious that Serbia was a favorite of the group. Ireland and host Austria are in this group too. Their match will start at 22:00 Tbilisi time.

Winner of the group goes through to final stage.
