Aleksandre Metreveli and Giorgi Tsivadze are in 1/8 final of 10-thousands tournament, which is under way in Shimkent, Kazakhstan.

Recall that Metreveli beat Russian Fiodor Cherviakov 6:4, 6:3 in initial circle and Tsivadze overcame Russian Kiril Dmitrev 6:4, 3:6, 6:2.

In the second round the Georgian tennis players play against Russians. Metreveli will compete with Russian Ivan Nedelko and Tsivadze will face Mikhail Biriukov.

In the doubles tournament Metreveli and Kazakh Denis Yevseev lost to Estonian-Russian duet (Vladimir Ivanov- Ivan Nedelko) 4:6, 6:7 (4:7).
