TSU Became Leader

In the central match of the 8th round, MIA lost against vice-champion TSU with a 9-point difference - 85:94 and lost the leadership.
Before that, MIA had won all 6 matches and of course, the team was planning another victory against TSU. Players of Nugzar Cheishvili thought other way and achieved success.
The students paid more attention to defense. They scored 13 3-point from 25 attempts.
All players of TSU played well. The first five players were distinguished. Zurab Korkotadze was the best player. He scored 6 3-point from 9, 1 2-point from 2, 6 from 7 penalties and collected 26 points. Captain of the team Mikheil Panchulidze scored 4 3-point from 7. Giorgi Gaprindashvili made good assists. Ilia Londaridze and Richard Matiashvili played actively under the basket.

Korkotadze scored the most points (26) in this match. His teammate Richard Matiashvili made double double. He scored 14 points and 14 rebounds.
Davit Imnadze was the best player from MIA. He scored 16 points.
"Army", one of the leaders of the championship, beat one of the outsiders "Dinamo" 105:62. "Army" is one of the leaders of the championship with MIA.
Kote Tugushi ("Army") collected 17 points, 11 rebounds, 12 assists and made the second triple double in the current championship. Tugushi made this within 31 minutes and 52 seconds.
Kote Tugushi made the first triple double in the 3rd round. He collected 24 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists in the match against GTU.
Teammate of Tugushi, Davit Ugrekhelidze made double double. He collected 21 points and 17 rebounds.
Central forward Irakli Alkhanaidze was the best player from "Dinamo". He scored 14 points.
"Sokhumi" won over GTU 79:57 in the last match of the round. "Sokhumi" earned 13 points and is sharing the 2nd-4th places with "Army" and MIA.
Lithuanian Petras Balochka had debut in "Sokhumi". He scored 15 points and 17 rebounds within 20 minutes.
As it was expected, Lasha Pargalava ("Sokhumi") collected the most points (21) in this match. His teammate Richard Damus (19 points and 14 rebounds) also made double double.
Zviad Antadze earned the most points (16) from GTU.
"Sports News" names Zurab Korkotadze and Kote Tugushi as the best players of the round.
"Energy Invest" hosts MIA in the central match of the 9th round.
