The 18th International Chess Tournament which took place in the city of Turkey, Chanakale finished with victory of Georgian chess players.
Davit Magalashvili (2465) became champion of a 9-round tournament. He collected 8.0 points as well as Bachana Morchiashvili (2363). But Davit has better additional data and won 2 000 TL from prize amount.
Levan Bregadze (2413) and Davit Benidze (2508) took the 7th and the 8th places with 7-7 points. Other Georgian chess players have the following results: 11. Zurab Javakhadze (2354) - 6.5; 12. Nino Khurtsidze (2443) - 6.5; 16. Giorgi Gamzardia (2195) - 2188;
