Georgian Freestyle Wrestling National Team is to compete at two international tournaments before European Championship. As for Greco-Roman style wrestlers they will compete at one international tournament. Malkhaz Jorbenadze general secretary of Georgian National Wrestling Federation has provided “World Sport” information about preparation process before European Championship which will be underway from March 29 to April 3, in the city of Germany Dortmund.
“Freestyle wrestlers after returning from Turkey will leave for Dusheti, where they will have meeting. From February 18 to March 3 is to be training. On March 4-5 main candidates of National Team will wrestle at international tournament named after Aleksander          Medved in the capital of Belarus, Minsk. On March 12-13 Georgian wrestlers are to compete at World Cup in Makhachkala. On March 15-26 they will have final meeting in district of Georgia, Dusheti. Classic style wrestlers have been training in the city of Arenia, Tsaghkazor for 2 weeks. On February 25-27leaders of the national team are to wrestle at international tournament which is held in the city of Bulgaria, Burgas. On March 18-30 Georgian wrestlers will have final stage of preparation for European Tournament in Dusheti”- stated Malkhaz Jorbenadze.
