It has not been officially announced but it has already been decided: “Wissol” will not be a sponsor of “Torpedo” Kutaisi anymore. It was expected because recently the rumor has it that “Wissol” was leaving “Torpedo”.

It was noticed in the last match when Levan Pkhakadze, president of “Wissol”, left the press box in the middle of the second half. “Torpedo” lost to “Wit Georgia” 0:5 in Mtskheta. “Torpedo” has terrible results: what caused it and why the situation is messed up, is hard to say.

However, the joint project of “Wissol” and “Lokomotiv” seemed to be doomed to failure from the beginning. The fans have expressed skepticism about this project. Everything started well but then, the situation was messed up.

It is not known who will finance “Torpedo”. The young football players of “Lokomotiv” will return to the Tbilisi club again. It was the agreement and it can be violated.

“Wissol” became a sponsor of “Torpedo” in 2010 and has financed it for 3,5 years.
