Three Georgians with the Same Results

 

Georgian Sumo wrestlers started competing at November Basho which is underway in “Kokusai Centre” of Fukuoka. On the first day of Basho three of them lost. On the second day they won and on the third day of the tournament they lost again.
Levan Gorgadze the same Tochinoshini who competes as a Komusu wresteled against veteran Ozeki Kaio and lost.  His next rival was Sekiwake Kakuria, who still keeps status of unbeaten among five Sekitors. Georgian sportsman does not have good memories with 25-year-old Mongolian sportsman, last eyar Gorgadze lost with Kkauria and he lost again with him this year.   
Levan Tsaguria a pioneer of Georgian Sumo lost with 7th Maegashira Kamuraima. 29-year-old Georgian competes as a 6th Maegashira at this tournament and his next rival is Japanese Vakanosato who is not in good condition this time. Georgian sportsman played against him 4 times and managed to win over him once.
Teumuraz Jugeli the heaviest (202 kg) in Elite Makuuchi has 1 win and 2 looses as well as his compatriots.  Jugeli the same Gagamaru is competing as 10th Maegashira of East at this tournament. 8th Maegashira Shimotori beat Georgian sportsman. Gagamaru will try to improve his showings with 9th Maegashira Kiokutenho, they meet each other first time in their career.   
Iokuzina Hakuho who won 63 times one after another, lost with Japanese Kisenosato, he was near setting the record (legend Futabaia has 69 wins). After this lost Hakuho continues successful competing.  There are six leaders. Those are the following: Kakuriu, Balt, Tokusegava, Ioshikaze, Shotenroma and Okinoumi.
