The main wrap of Telavi Tennis Tournament (prize-money is 25 000 ) was unsuccessful for Georgians. Only three tennis players managed to go through the second round from 9 host players. One of them succeeded it after defeating compatriot. The first and the second ranked players continue competing in Telavi Open. Oksana Kalashnikova beat Jew Yulia Glushko 6:1, 4:6, 6:4 and in the 1/8 final will play against Pole Paula Kania and as for Maka Chakhnashvili, she beat Romanian Agnes Shatman 6:4, 7:6 (7:4) and will play again Pole Karolina Kosinska.
Sopho Kvatsbaia managed to beat the 5^th rating owner Sopo Shapatava easily 6:3, 6:1, in 1/8 final she will play against Victoria Yemelianova of Belarus , who beat Diana Davitaia 6:2, 7:6 (7:4).
In the first circle Melanie Klafner, who was finalist last year beat Ana Jikia 1:6, 1:6. Dutch Anjelic Van der Meet(rank 4) beat Tatia Mikadze(rank6) 5:7, 1:6; Ekaterine Gorgadze could not manage to beat Ana Rapoport of Russia4:6, 6:2, 3:6; as for Manana Shafakidze, she defeated by Ukrainian Alyona Sotnikova- 6:7 (4:7), 4:6. In couple tournament Kalashnikova and Klafnerm (the first rating) beat the Pole Yegiolka and Kava 7:5, 6:4 and will play against Pole Kania and Slovak Zlochova in semi quarter.
 Chaknashvili (the 4^th rating) and Kvatsbaia beat Shafakidze and Natela Dzalamidze who represents Russia 6:1, 6:0, in the next circle they will play against Russian Rapoporti and Belarus Yemelyanova, who beat Tamar Chalaghanidze and Barbare Eristavi- 6:1, 6:1.
Mikadze and Shafatava (the 3^rd) beat compatriots Babilina Machaidze and Nino Sujashvili 6:1, 6:0. Their next rival will be Gorgodze-Glushko or Kapshai-Shatmar duet.
As for Armenian Amiraghyan and Georgian Jikia they lost with the Dutch duet 0:6, 1:6.
Anna Ttishvili (rank 5) top seed of Georgia participates tournament which is underway in the state of the USA, California (prize-money 75 000). In the first round her rival will be American Aleksandra Stivenson.Stivenson became the 18^th top seed of the World in 2002 autumn, but now she is on the 323^rd place.
20-year-old Ana Tatishvili and 29-year-old Stevenson had met each other three times before. Georgian tennis player is quite better than American one. In 2007 Ana was beating her 6:7 (8:10), 6:2, 3:1 when she refused to continue playing. In 2009 0:4 Stevenson gave in once again, in 2008 In Boston Tatishvili beat her 5:7, 6:3, 6:1.
Before single ranking Georgian players will compete in couple ranking. No.3 Tatishvili and German Kathrin Voerle will play against American Augustine and Ukrainian Kharchenko in 1/8 final.
No. 7 Nikoloz Basilashvili will play against Abdula Mgdas in the first round of the tournament which is underway in the city of California, Costa Mesa ( prize money 10 000 ). In couple ranking he plays with Romanian Desku against American Kosakovski and Brazilian Krivac.
