Georgian National Rugby Team won decisive match of “Nations Cup” over Russian National Team (15:9) in the city of Russia, Sochi. “Grand Slam” is ahead.
Hosts showed big resistance against “The Lelos” in the first half, Kvirikashvili and Rachkov changed penalty kicks and before the second match the total scored was 3:3. But in the second half Georgians activated and started to attack, they approached in 5 meters to the penalty kick with short kicks. The hosts were shown penalty and Georgians preferred to attack, Russians were shown fouled three times in a row, as a result they were punished with technical try and Kvirikashvili scored realization – 10:3. Soon Zirakishvili was sinbined and Rachov kicked two penalty kicks, who reduced point difference. “The Lelos” activated again, did their best and hardly managed to score try. Malaghuridze could not score realization but in spite of this Georgians prolonged tradition of beating “Bears”.
