The VII round of the First League was held among leaders. “Gagra” hosted ”Lokomotivi” at “Merani” stadium and beat 4:1. Zaza Kajaia scored in the first half and as for leader “Gagra” started scoring responsive goals in the second half. All the goals were scored by legionaries. At first Nigerian Ovonikoko scored double then Ukrainians Vladimir Ordinski and Mikola Nakonechi scored. This match was held in the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi.
“Merani” hosted “Mertskhali” in the district of Georgia, Martvili. Hosts won this match 7:2. Davit Berusahvili, Tape Baugnin (2), Lasha Kuchukhidze (2), Giga Ambrooladze and Otar Toradze scored the goal.
Malkhaz Zhvania is a head coach of “Merani”, Mogeli Dikhaminjia, Galaktion Chubabria and Bagrat Khelaia are his assistants. A famous Georgian businessman Phridon Injia is the president and sponsor of club.

After 4 rounds two outsider clubs fall down in first league in XXIII Championship. An the club which will win the 8th place will play against the third place-owner and in case of win will remain in the first league.
Clubs which will take the 16th and the 17th places will leave First League. These clubs will be replaced by winners in West and East zones of Second League.
