World Cup started without well-known sportsmen in the city of South Korea, Suwon. None of strong teams represented strong sportsmen, besides host country in Asian tatami. Some of them even avoided to send delegation to this tournament. 23 countries participate in this tournament.
On December 3 will be found out champions and prize winners in three weight categories. In 60 weight category Gvang-Yon Chui from South Korea was considered as a favorite and he justified hopes and competed without lose. In 66 weight category is considered as a favorite also host sportsman Yeon-Hvan Ani, who keeps the 15th position in rating. He stayed beyond the top three and George Fasie of Romania became a champion in this weight category. In 73 weight category Ki-Chun Vang became a champion, as it was expected. Tomorrow will be found out champions in other 4 weight categories.
As for Georgian National Team, it is preparing for Big Slam, which will be held in Japan. Soso Liparteliani a head coach of the team will train 7 sportsmen during 10 days. Big Slam takes place on December 11-13.
