Georgian U-17 football team (born in 1998), coached by Gocha Tkebuchava started the Development Cup successfully in Macedonia.

In the first match, which was held in Skopje, the Georgians defeated Armenian U-17 team 1:0. Irakli Bughridze scored the victory goal. The apprentices of Tkebuchava could increase the score, but they could not use penalty.

On April 23 the Georgian U-17 team will face Cypriots.
