The 5^th round matches were played at Women’s and Men’s Georgian U-18 Chess Championship.

Matches of the leaders cause a great interest. Meri Arabidze, leader among girls, who has 4 victories played the first draw against Lika Kobeshavidze (3,5 points) in the 5^th round. Arabidze (4,5) and Kobeshavidze (4) are in the 1^st-2^nd places. Nani Unapkoshvili, Ana Kuchava and Lizi Trapaidze are sharing the 3^rd-5^th places with 3,5-3,5 points. Trapaidze drew against Mariam Valishvili. Unapkoshvili and Kuchava beat Mariam Tevzadze (2,5) and Natia Jalabadze (2,5).

As for Men’s Championship, Zurab Javakhadze beat Kakhaber Tsereteli. Nodar Lortkipanidze won over Irakli Beradze and the duet is leading the championship.
