Georgian basketball season, traditionally, will be opened with Dudu Dadiani Memorial. Academy of Interior Ministry situated in Gldani district will host this tournament from October 19.
10 teams will participate in memorial. They will be distributed in 2 groups. Teams from Batumi will not compete in the tournament. On October 30, they will participate in Super League with participant teams of Dadiani memorial.

Teams were distributed at Dadiani memorial this way: teams which took odd places in the last championship are in the first group and those teams which took even places are in the second one. Those teams which were in Super League in the last season and do not play this year, fell out from the schedule.
There are some teams which did not participate in the last tournament - teams of Ministry of Defence and Technical University. Georgian Technical University made statement about participation in the national championship earlier than team of Ministry of Defence. So, GTU advanced in the schedule and the teams are distributed this way:
