Temuri and His Team Advance in Ranking

Georgian national football team continues its progress which started this year headed by Temur Ketsbaia. Georgian team advanced in FIFA-Coca Cola ranking and they will be in the 75th place till November 17.
There are three changes in top ten. Germany and Brazil (in favor of this last one) exchanged their places. Unlike the previous month, Croatia and Russia advanced with 2 and 15 places and now they are in top ten.
9 from 207 countries had the best results in their history. Such countries are: Slovenia (15), Montenegro (26), Burkina Faso (37), Belarus (42), Armenia (60), Botswana (79), Azerbaijan (91), Central African Republic (112) and the Philippines (152).
Central African Republic has the best result. The team was in the 172nd place and advanced with 60 places. Then comes Nigeria - 54th place (from 154 to 100) and Dominican Republic - 46th place (from 178 to 132). As for those teams which regressed, Bolivia is leading here (with 50 places), then comes Cyprus (45) and Liberia (25).
Georgian team has not had such high rating for 3 years - since October 2007. System of ranking points changed in 2007 and Georgians advanced with 33 places because they beat Azerbaijan (115) 1:1 on September 12.
At the beginning of March 2010, Georgian team was in the 124th place when they held a match against Estonia (2:1). Team of Temur Ketsbaia held 7 matches this year. They won 2 matches, played 5 draws and advanced with 49 places.
