First time in Georgian chess history, there is held Georgian Grand Prix rapid and blitz, which contains four stages. For finding out winners and prize winners in Grand Prix, will be summed up the results of 3 stages. On April 18 starts the first stage, which is hosted at Tbilisi Chess Palace. The tournament starts at 16:00 o'clock. All leading 8 Georgian chess players women as well as men will participate in this tournament.

 I  stage -  tournament between men and women                        

I I  stage - Georgian championship between men and women (open tournament)                          

I I I  stage - Georgian cup between men and women (open tournament)                          

IV  stage - tournament between men and women                                                                                                                

 Blitz:

 I  stage -  tournament between men and women                        

I I  stage - Georgian championship between men and women (open tournament)                          

I I I  stage - Georgian cup between men and women (open tournament)                          

IV  stage - tournament between men and women  

System

All the members of Georgian chess federation who are willing and have international ranking will be allowded at this tournament,

 The tournament will be held in Swiss system in 9 rounds

 If the number of participants does not overcome more than 20, in such case in  7 rounds)

 ranking will be summed up at these tournaments (rapid and blitz)
