As we already reported, Georgian tennis player Ana Tatishvili is still in USA and in current week she will be involved in the tournament (50 000 USD) in Captiva Island. According to the sortition it was found out, that overcoming initial circles should not be difficult for Ana.

The fact is that Tatishvili (#5 seed) plays against American Julia Boserup, owner of “Wild Card”, in the first round, in case of winning in the 1/8 final she will play against the best among those tennis players who won in the classification.

Three Georgian tennis players will play in Antalya tournament (10 000 USD). #4 seed Ekaterine Gorgodze plays against Turkish Esen Kokche, Sopo Kvatsabaia faces German Nora Engelman and Ana Kadagidze plays against Ukrainian Anastasia Shestakova.

In the doubles, Gorgodze (#4 seed) and Ukrainian Taysia Zakarlyuk overcame also Ukrainian duet – Ana Bogoslavets and Shestakova 6:2, 6:3 and went through the ¼ final.

The similar result reached Kvatsabaia and kokche, who won over German Engelman and Dominique Wall 6:0, 6:4. It is already known that in the ¼ final Kvatsabaia and Kokche will face the Belgians (Mari Benua – Kimberley Cimerman).

In the first round, Kadagidze and Slovak Viktoria Kuzmova will play against Romanians – Ana and Yoana Bogdan.
