Georgian tennis player Anna Tatishvili continues participation in the Las Vegas tournament (50 000 USD). In the second round of singles draw Anna defeated No.4 seed Maria Sanchez 7:6 (7:1), 2:6, 6:3 and made through to ¼ final where Anna will face Allie Kiick of America.

Kiick started participation from the qualifying draw and won over five opponents without losing a set. In 1/8 final Kiick was beating compatriot Alexandra Stevenson 6:1, 1:0 when Stevenson retired.

Tatishvili lost doubles draw where she was participating with Ajla Tomljanovic of Croatia. Anna and Ajla lost to American duet 4:6, 6:4, 5:10 in ¼ final.

The Telavi tournament (Georgia, 50 000 USD) is under way without Georgian tennis players.

In ¼ final of doubles draw Ekaterine Gorgodze and Sofia Shapatava defeated compatriots Maka Chakhnashvili and Sofia Kvatsabaia 6:4, 6:2. In semifinal they lost to Italian-Slovenian duet 4:6, 4:6.
