Anna Tatishvili and Nina Bratchikova of Russia made through to final of the Budapest tournament (235 000 USD) but could not win the main prize.

The Georgian-Russian pair defeated Klemenschits of Austria and Klepac of Slovenia 6:1, 6:2. In final they lost to No.1 seed Czech duet (Hlavackova-Hradecka) 4:6, 1:6.

Anna and Nina earned 200-200 ranking points.

It is known that Tatishvili will participate in the Bastad tournament (Sweden, 235 000 USD).

In the first round of singles draw 16-year-old Belinda Bencic of Switzerland will be opponent of Anna. In case of victory, the Georgian tennis player will face either Serena Williams of America or Sesil Karatantcheva of Bulgaria.

In doubles Tatishvili and Irina Buryachok of Ukraine will play the Latvian-British duet (Marcinkevica-Slater).

Maka Chakhnashvili was trying to make through to the main draw of the Bastad tournament but in the first round she lost to Sara Sorribes Tormo of Spain 1:6, 1:6.

Ekaterine Gorgodze lost in semifinal of the Aschaffenburg tournament (Germany, 25 000 USD). The Georgian tennis player started participation from the qualifying draw. She won 5 matches. In the semifinal Gorgodze lost to Dalila Jakupovic of Slovenia 1:6, 0:6.
