Georgian tennis player Anna Tatishvili participated in the main draw of the Washington tournament (235 000 USD) and had a chance to overcome the first round but could not use it.

Tatishvili was defeating Caroline Garcia of France 6:0, 4:1 but finally, lost 6:0, 6:7 (5:7), 4:6.

Tonight the Georgian tennis player will compete in doubles draw. Tatishvili and Watson of Great Britain will face Barthel of Germany and Cornet of France.

In case of victory, the Georgian and the British will play the Canadian-American duet in ¼ final.

Sofia Shapatava lost the Donetsk tournament (75 000 USD). The Georgian tennis player won over Krystina Pliskova of Czech Republic 2:6, 7:5, 6:3. In 1/8 final she lost to Aleksandra Krunic of Serbia 4:6, 6:7 (7:9).

In doubles draw Shapatava and Ukrainain Alona Fomina lost to the Ukrainian-Czech duet 2:6, 3:6.

Ekaterine Gorgodze could not overcome the qualifying draw of the Bad Saulgau tournament (Germany, 25 000 USD). The Georgian won over Caroline Uebelhoer of Germany 6:4, 6:4 and then lost to Marcela Zacarias of Mexico 4:6, 3:6.

Tamar Chalaganidze lost to Pamela Boyanov of Australia 4:6, 2:6 in the last round of the qualifying draw in Izmir.

In doubles Chalaganidze and Lee of Taiwan will play No.4 seed Russian-Ukrainian duet.
