Georgian tennis player Anna Tatishvili lost the first qualifying match at the international tournament (250 000 USD) in Acapulco, Mexico.

No.7 seed Tatishvili lost to Amandine Hesse of France 6:2, 7:6 (7:2).

Georgian top seed Nikoloz Basilashvili had a successful week. He made through to semifinal of the Astana Challenger (75 000 USD) where he lost to future champion Andrey Golubev 6:3, 2:6, 1:6.

It is worth mentioning that the No.1 seed Kazakh lost only one set during the tournament and this only set he lost to Basilashvili. The Georgian earned 38 ranking points in Astana.

Sofia Kvatsabaia and Pia Konig won the Antalya tournament (10 000 USD). In the final the No.3 seed Georgian-Austrian duet was beating the Chinese players 2:1 when their opponents retired.
