Georgian tennis player Anna Tatishvili was trying to make through to the main draw of “Mutua Madrid Open” (4 033 254 USD) but she lost in the first round.

No.11 seed Tatishvili played against Aravane Rezai of France. The match lasted 2 hours and 20 minutes and Anna lost 5:7, 6:4, 4:6. Anna used 4 from 10 break-points. She lost her serve 5 times, served 3 aces and made 6 doubles faults.

Tatishvili will not play in doubles draw. But we have another Georgian participant. Oksana Kalashnikova and Liga Dekmeijere of Latvia will play against German-Kazakh duet (Gorges-Shvedova).
