Georgian top seed Ana Tatishvili won in single ranking as well as in couple ranking and went through the 1/8 final of the tournament which is underway in the city of the USA, Albuquerque.No.5 rank Georgian tennis player won over Aleksandra Stevenson of the USA, who was the 18th seed of the World. Tatishvili beat Stevenson three times before and beating her was not difficult this time also.
Due to rain the real fight was in the first set and in the second half Anna advanced – 7:6 (7:2), 6:3.
In the 1/8 final opponent of Tatishvili will be one of the hosts 31-year-old July Ditte, who started competing from qualifying round and she has already managed to win 3 times.
In the first round of the main wrap Ditte was defeated by compatriot Monica Puig in difficult fight 1:6, 6:2, 7:6 (7:4). Her highest WTA singles ranking is the 359th position, while her best achievement was on the 89th position last year.

Tatishvili gained 30 points in couples ranking, she plays with Woerle of Germany and beat American Albanese and Croatian Tomljanovic in semi quarter. Tonight will be held match which was delayed due to rain and Tatishvili will play in the single match and couple match.
Nikoloz Basilashvili won over Kuwaiti Abdullah Magdas in tournament (prize money is 10 000 USD) which takes place in the city of California, Costa Mesa 6:1, 6:4. In 1/8 final his opponent will be Ukrainian Oleksey Jorniak.
In couples tournament Nikoloz Basilashvili and Romanian Daescu will play against Japanese players Ishii and Sato (rating 3). Georgian player will hold both matches tomorrow.
As for Lado Chikhladze who takes place in Italy (prize money 10 000) was defeated by No.1 rank Sweden Philip Prpich 6:7 (5:7), 4:6.
In couples tournament Chikhladze and Italian Bellotti (rank 4) won over hosts Papasidero and Wolf 6:4, 6:2 and will play against Italian duet in semi final.
