Anna Tatishvili Georgian 20-year-old tennis-player went through the semi final of Phoenix Goldwater women’s classic tournament (prize money 75 000) like last year and kept her 50 rating points.
It is noteworthy that Georgian top seed went through the three rounds without loosing any set. Tatishvili won over American Elison Kays (6:4, 6:2), then Rebecca Marino (6:2, 6:4) and then Canadian Heidi El Tabakh (6:3, 6:3). In the semi final her rival is American Melanie Oudin.
19-year-old Oudin is on the 65th place in WTA rating, she had the best showings in April, when she was on the 31st place. Georgian and American players have met three times before and Oudin had advantages.
For going through the final player gains 78 points, champion 110 points and awards with 11 400 $.
