Tatishvili in Phoenix, Kalashnikova in Minsk

Georgian top seed Anna Tatishvili will compete at tournament which will be underway in the city of Arizona, Phoenix (prize money 75 000) after competing at the Grapevine’s tournament, where she went through the semi quarter.

Tatishvili has the best showings in her career now, she is on the 134th place in WTA. She is ranked No. 10 at upcoming tournament. Favorites at this tournament are Melanie Odine and Varvara Lepchenko. Tatishvili stopped competing at Grapevine tournament after loosing with Lpechenko. Varvara born in Uzbekistan won over Georgian player 6:4, 7:6 (7:5) and became a champion.
It is noteworthy that Lepchenko won this tournament last year. Uzbek player who represents the U.S. won over Sasha Jones of New Zealand 6:0, 6:0. Jounse won over Tatishvili 3:6, 6:2, 6:1 in semi final.  
Last year Tatishvili and her couple Marie-Eve Pelletier of Canada went through the final of this tournament, but they lost with American Washington and Canadian Pichman 6:4, 4:6, 8:10.

Oksana Kalashnikova will compete at the tournament which will be held in the capital of Belarus, Minsk (prize money 25 000). She is ranked NO.5 and will play against Pole Catarjina Piters in case of win she will play against Spanish Costas-Moreiras and Belarus Zehalevich. Kalashnikova will compete with Zehalevich in couple tournament.
