The 5^th round of current World Chess Olympics which is underway in the city of Russia, Khanti Mansiysk was successful for Georgian teams. Men’s team beat one of the leaders Vietnam 3.5:0.5 and replaced to the first place, as for women’s team they beat Azerbaijani team 4:0 and took the 5^th place, what is quite good result.
There was not big difference between Georgian and Vietnam Teams in rating (the2th and the27th), but Georgians did not give any chance to the opponent team. Mikheil Mchedlishvili playing with black pieces drew at the 12^th move to Dung Nguyen Anh (2500), as for Baadur Jobava, MERAB Gagunashvili and Levan Pnatsulaia they won and in a result to it men’s team won the 5^th times.
As we have already mentioned Georgian men’s team took the first place but the same results have Hungarian and Armenian teams 10 points. But Jobava and others have better additional results.
Sunday is day off at Olympics and it woks quite well for Georgian Team. On Monday they will play against Armenians on the first and the third boards with white pieces.
No.6 rating Armenian team managed to beat Costa-Rica (3:1), Australia (3.5:0.5), Turkey (3.5:0.5) and Russian the third (2.5:1.5) and the second teams (2.5:1.5). Armenian team consists of Levon Aronyan (2783), Vladimir Akopyan (2691), Gabriel Sargisyan (2677), Arman Pashikyan (2639) and Avetik Gigoryan (2579). 
This day was not successful for Russia, which have 5 teams in this tournament, Russian first team lost with Hungary 1.5:2.5, Armenian won over the second team of Russia.
Georgian women’s team celebrated very important victory. After losing with Russian team they mobilized soon and beat Azerbaijani team. Georgians won all the fourths games, the most distinguished were Nana Dzagnidze, Lela Javakhishvili, Salome Melia and Sophiko Khakhushvili.
Georgian team which is current champion gained 10 points as well as other 11 countries. But according to additional index they are advanced and are on the 5^th place. Ukraine and Russia are on the first place with 10-10 points. Teams from the U.S.A and Hungary have 9-9 points.
In the 6^th round leaders will face each other, Georgian team playing with white pieces meets the U.S.A. It is worth mentioning that none of the players in their team is American. Irina Krush (2490)
 and Ana Zatonskikhi (2480) were born in Ukraine, Tatev Abrahamyan (2352) in Armenia, Camile Baginskaite (2328) in Lithuania and as fro Sabina-Francheska Foisor (2293) she was born in Romania.
U.S.A team beat teams from Dominic Republic (4:0), Estonia (3:1), Argentina (3.5:0.5) and Slovenia (2.5: 1.5), in the 4^th round drew with Hungarian team 2:2.
