Today, on June 17, Antoaneta Stefanova, Bulgarian former World and European champion in chess among women, who takes part in World Grand-Prix in Georgia, hold the joint game session on 12 boards for diplomatic missions accredited in Georgia and the representatives of the Ministry. Among them was Maia Panjikidze, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia. The session was held under the campaign of Georgian international grandmaster Zurab Azmaiparashvili, who will take place in the presidential elections of European Chess Union in August 2014, in the Norwegian city of Tromso.
Recall that in Tromso, in parallel to the elections, will be held Chess Olympiad 2014 and in order to win the right to host the World Chess Olympiad 2018 there will be held a competition. Georgia will also participate in this competition.
