The law enforcement officers of Turkey detailed a Georgian football player at the Istanbul airport. The reason for the detention has become a joke of the 16-year-old football player. He told steward that he had so-called “bomb watch”. The polite contacted the airport police, passengers left the airplane and the law enforcement officers detained the sportsman on the scene. The Georgian Public Broadcaster reports.

Istanbul-Tbilisi flight was performed three hours later. The Turkish police released the 16-year-old football player after one-hour interrogation. The sportsman will arrive in Tbilisi today.  

The Georgian embassy to Turkey and the football federation were involved in the incident. The Georgian team was coming back from Macedonia.
