Before the resumption of Russian Premier League, “Rubin” Kazan returned Solomon Kvirkvelia from “Neftekhimik”. On Thursday in the first match of Europa League 1/8 final “Rubin” played scoreless draw with Spanish “Levante” but the Georgian football player did not play because he was not on the list. In an interview with “Rubin” club television Kvirkvelia stated the most important for him is to gain playing practice and he will do his best to establish himself in “Rubin”.

Solomon Kvirkvelia: “I want to play and it does not matter where I will play. First of all, I want to play for “Rubin” and if I can do it, I will go to other club on loan”.

According to Kvirkvelia, Kurban Berdyev advised him to transfer to “Neftekhimik” last year:

“Head coach Kurban Berdyev told me I needed playing practice and he advised me “Neftekhimik”. There are 4-5 teams in First League which have played in Premier League. I told him I did not have a chance to play in “Rubin”. That is why, I agreed with him to play for “Neftekhimik” and then I would return. I have been in this club for three years and I like here. I always practice and I am ready to play. I will do my best”.

According to the Georgian defender, “Rubin” fights for win at all tournaments and Europa League will not be an exception:

“Rubin” is the club which always plays well at Europa League, Champions League and Russian Championship. We fight only for victory. Here are all professional football players. “Levante” played in defense well. They have good football players”.
