On the third day of EuroBasket the team of Groups C and D had a rest. They did not hold a game. The Georgian national team held the practice. The team practiced on “Triglav Arena”.

The Georgian basketball players will hold the next game against Slovenia. It will be a tough game. After beating Spain, Slovenia is in a good mood and consider themselves as the main favorite of the tournament. The Georgians are in a difficult situation after losing to Croatia.

It is good news that the Georgians are on form and nobody is injured. Now it is important to restore strength and to play at high level against the Slovenians. Giorgi Tsintsadze who earned 25 points against Croatia also mentioned it.

“Nothing changes for us. We play all games like it is final. So, we will do our best again. It will be a tough game. Slovenia plays home and will have a great support from fans”.

Igor Kokoskov also considers the next game as the most important one. He attended Slovenia-Spain game on “Zlatorog Arena”.

“We played Slovenia at the previous EuroBasket. But many things have changed since then. They play home now and have a great support. We must do everything to achieve success”.

Manuchar Markoishvili who was not satisfied with his play against Croatia and apologized his teammates, made a comment about the upcoming game.

“The host team is on great form. So, it will be a tough game. But there is a chance and we will try to use it. Each basketball player must play well. After beating Spain, the Slovenians will play freely and we will try to surprise them”.
