Georgian team won three medals on the second day of World Sambo Championship which is underway in Minsk. Three Georgians wrestled and only Ushangi Kuzanashvili (57kg) was left beyond top 3. Levan Zhorzholiani (100kg) showed the best result from the Georgians – he took the second place. Besarion Berulava (74kg) took the third place.

Yesterday Shorena Sharadze (64kg) and Irine Leonidze (80kg), members of Georgian women’s team, won bronze medals.

World Championship started in Belarus on November 9 and Giorgi Baindurov (90kg) became champion.

Today champions and prize winners will be found out in 62, 82 and +100kg. Levan Kochiev (62kg), Niko Kutsia (82kg) and Nodar Metreveli (+100kg) will wrestle in the name of Georgia.
