“Montepaschi” of Viktor Sanikidze defeated “Acea Roma” and advanced in final series of the Italian Championship 2:1. 3 minutes before the end of the game the Siena club was losing 68:75. In the rest of the time “Montepaschi” beat its opponent 21:6 (!) and won 89:81.

American Bobby Brown did great job in the mentioned period and earned 12 points. Overall, the American earned 23 points. Daniel Hackett gained 17 points and 8 assists and Matthew Janning – 13 points.                                                                                                                        

Sanikidze earned 4 points and 4 rebounds in 10 minutes. Viktor scored 1 from 2 2-point and both two free throws. He received 2 personal fouls and 3 fouls were committed against him.

On June 17 “Montepaschi” will host “Acea Roma”. In case of victory the club will approach the championship. Four wins are necessary for winning gold medals.
