Vladimer Mestvirishvili will be an assistant of the Georgian freestyle national and age teams. The Georgian Wrestling Federation has already made decision but the executive committee will discuss this issue on 17 December.

“A specialist like Vladimer Mestvirishvili must not work abroad. We offered him to work for us and have agreed on details but this issue will be officially confirmed on 17 December. Before that Mestvirishvili will depart for India. The federation, Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs and National Olympic Committee will prepare normal conditions for him. Vladimer Mestvirishvili will be an assistant of the national, youth and cadet teams”.

According to the president of the federation, some changes are planned in the coaching staff.

Vladimer Mestvirishvili has worked in India for 10 years. He coordinates local teams there. In 2010 FILA named him as an honored coach.
