Giorgi Shermadini might return to “Zaragoza” of Spain. Sentimiento AyN reports it.

The center of the Georgian national team started the previous season in the Aragon club and was one of the leaders. In the middle of the season he joined “Olympiacos” of Greece.

Georgios Bartzokas, head coach of “Olympiacos”, promised Shermadini solid playing time but it did not happen. The Georgian basketball player was a substitute and spent most time on the bench.

According to the Spanish internet portal, the contract of Shermadini with the Greek club expires on July 1 and he wants to change the club. “Zaragoza” is one of the variants.

If Shermadini transfers to “Zaragoza”, he will be the only Georgian in the club. Viktor Sanikidze is going to leave “Zaragoza”. Some clubs are interested in him and he will make a decision in the future.
