Giorgi Shermadini became champion of Euroleague for the second time. The Georgian center won the best club title of Europe with the Greek team. If in 2009 he did not play for “Panathinaikos”, yesterday he played a role in victory of “Olympiacos” (100:88).
Shermadini played for 6,22 minutes and scored all throws. The Georgian center scored 1 from 1 free throw and 2-point. He earned 3 points, 1 rebound and 2 assists.
“Olympiacos” had two leaders – Vassilis Spanoulis earned 22 points and 4 assists, Acie Law – 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Kyle Hunes earned 12 points, 5 rebounds, 3 block-shots and 3 assists.
It is worth mentioning that “Olympiacos” was losing 10:27 but minimized the score in the first half. “Olympiacos” won this title twice in a row. It is a great success for the Greek team.
In the game for the third place CSKA defeated “Barcelona” 74:73.
