Giorgi Sharabidze (height 210 cm), member of the Georgian national basketball team) will play for “Kormend” of Hungary. The 23-year-old Georgian center is in Kormend and is preparing for a new season with his new club.

In the previous season “Kormend” played in ¼ final of Hungarian League. However, in final series “Kormend” lost to “Szolnoki”0:3.

As for Sharabidze, he spent the last 3 years in “Armia”. In the previous season he averaged 14.5 points, 7.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 23 games. Giorgi spent several years in “Valencia” of Spain and returned to Georgia in 2010.

“Kormend” of Hungary has played in Tbilisi. In 1996-97 Eurocup “Vita” beat the Hungarians 72:71.
