Sofia Shapatava has successful start at the Tallinn tournament (Estonia, 25 000 USD).

The Georgian tennis player beat Michaela Honcova of Slovakia 1:6, 6:3, 7:6 (7:3). In 1/8 final Sofia will play against Aliaksandra Sasnovich of Belarus. In the first round the Belarusian defeated Kateryna Kozlova of Ukraine 2:6, 6:1, 7:6 (7:5).

Shapatava earned 8 ranking points and if she overcomes the second round the Georgian will gain 14 points.

In doubles draw Sofia and Anastasiya Vasylyeva of Ukraine will play against No.3 seed Polish duet (Linette-Piter).

Ekaterine Gorgodze lost to Basak Eraydin of Turkey 6:4, 3:6, 1:6 in the first round of the Antalya tournament (Turkey, 10 000 USD). Oksana Kalashnikova will play against Karen Barbat of Denmark.

In doubles draw Kalashnikova and Ksenia Palkina of Kyrgyzstan won over American Riley and Russian Smolina 6:1, 6:1. In ¼ final they will play against Uzbek Khabibulina and Moldovan Porubin.

Nikoloz Basilashvili showed up at the San Luis Potosi Challenger (35 000 USD) in Mexico.

Basilashvili was losing to Marco Chiudinelli of Switzerland 4:4, 0:4 when the Georgian retired because of injury.

Nikoloz has to play in doubles draw too. The Georgian and Malek Jaziri of Tunis will play against Indians but it is not known if Basilashvili will be able to play.
