Sopo Shapatava celebrated the 2nd victory in the international tournament (prize fund 25 thousand dollars), which was held in Sankt-Petersburg, Russia. #4 seed Georgian tennis player won over Ulrike Eker of Norway 7:6 (7:4) in the 1/8 final. In the 1/4 final she will play against the best player between Russian Melnikova and Lazareva.
In order to win tournament of Sankt-Petersburg 50 ranking points are forseen for this. Shapatava has 179 points and in the classification of WTA is in the 278th place.
