Two Georgian tennis players went through the second round of Antalya tennis tournament (prize money 10 000 USD). Sopho Shapatava and Ekaterine Gorgodze gained rights of playing in the 1/8 final. 

No.1 seed Shapatava beat one of the winners of qualifying round Ukrainian Anhelina Kalinina 6:3, 6:1, in the 1/8 final she will play against Belarusian Irina Shimanovich. 

Ekaterine Gorgodze beat Bulgarian Vivian Zlatanova one of the winners of qualifying round 7:5, 6:0 and now she plays against No.7 seed Serbian Natalya Kostic. 

Shapatava No.3 seed in doubles tournament and Gorgodze beat mentioned Kostic and Dutch Zuur 6:0, 3:6, 11:9 and in the 1/4 final they will play against Ukrainian Kazimova and Russian Samusheva. 

The duet of Kirgiz Palkin and Georgian Oksana Kalashnikova is No.1. Kalashnikova lost the first match in singles tournament. 

Georgian-Kirgiz duet beat Bulgarians (Botushavora-Zlatanova) 7:6 (7:3), 6:2 and in the second round they play agains Swedish-American tandem (Hamlin-Vong).
